  Hell Yes Fest Announces Final Lineup and Ticket Information


New Orleans, LA Hell Yes Fest, New Orleans biggest comedy festival, has finalized its full lineup for November 2013, adding headliners The Lucas Brothers and Eric Andre (Adult Swim, ABC). Hell Yes Fest is in its fourth year and is produced by local comedy theater The New Movement.

The above additions have extended the dates of the festival, making it run from November 12th to the 18th, marking the first time that Hell Yes Fest has run a full week. The Eric Andre Show as been announced as the closing show that caps off an already robust lineup. Local New rleans sketch, standup, and improv comedians like Stupid Time Machine, machine A, and hris + Tami have been threaded throughout the festival, while out of town performers such as Todd Barry, Sara Schaefer, and sketch group WOMEN (Los Angeles based comics Jake Weisman, Dave Ross, Allen Strickland Williams, and Pat Bishop) show that New Orleans has become a hot destination for touring comedians from all over the country.
"There's never been this much local talent in the festival nor has there been this much out of town talent," said Chris Trew, director of Hell Yes Fest and owner of The New Movement.

"We're excited about New Orleans coming out to see shows and taking one more huge step in becoming a major comedy city." Another new dynamic to Hell Yes Fest this year, two national podcasts will have live tapings Nerdist podcast Terrified (hosted by Dave Ross) and Washington DC based podcast You Me Them Everybody.

"Podcasts are a big deal for comedians these days, so naturally we want to keep up with
whatever the interesting trends are in comedy," Trew said. " In addition to launching our own podcast network, TNM.fm, we wanted to highlight some other cool podcasts by hosting live versions."

Finally, the Hell Yes Fest Film portion has finalized it's lineup as well, including indie feature films Summer League and The Bounceback as well as local productions Sunken City and Least Favorite Love Songs.

Tickets for all shows have gone on sale, starting with Individual show tickets priced as low as $7.
