November marks the Tenth Anniversary of Dutch Alley Artists Co-Op, founded by
artist Ric Rolston in the French Market's building on Dutch Alley at Dumaine
Street. This beautiful location displays the work of 25 regional artists
and designers, who all work together in the daily operations of the gallery, in
true Co-Op fashion.
Perfectly situated among the sites and sounds of the French Quarter, the
gallery showcases the quality and diversity of some of the finest artists in
the region. Both locals and visitors will find an exciting and
ever-changing collection of artwork in all mediums.
As part of Dutch Alley's Tenth Anniversary Month, the first ten days of
November will each feature a member artist, who will be demonstrating their
work from 11 am to 1pm. A reception will be held on November 2nd from 6
to 9pm, with refreshments and musical guests The New Orleans Celtic Harp
Ensemble. A number of gallery artists will be creating special edition
works to commemorate the Tenth Anniversary.
