LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN BASIN MARITIME MUSEUM TEXAS HOLD’EM POKER TOURNAMENT

On December 7, 2013 the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum in Madisonville LA, will host a Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament, doors will open at 5 PM; tournament play begins at 6 PM until 12 AM. This event will benefit the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum. 

The tournament is open to the first 150 players that register. Initial buy-in is $50.00, re-buys and add-ons are optional at $50.00 each. Players that register early, before December 7, will receive a 2013 Wooden Boat Festival poster. All donations to the Museum are tax deductible. Poker Productions LLC will conduct the tournament. Doors open at 5 PM for registration. The top five finishers will receive gift cards in amounts based on a percentage of the initial buy in, 40% for 1st place, 20% for 2nd place, 15% for 3rd place, 10% for 4th place, and 5% for 5th place. Gift baskets will be awarded to the 6th, 7th and 8th place winners.

In conjunction with the Poker Tournament, the Museum will also hold a 50/50 Raffle with the winner announced that evening. A concession stand and bar will be available to the players.

The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum in Madisonville is an educational non-profit organization that offers exhibits and unique hands-on educational programs that bring the story of Louisiana's heritage to life.
