The Historic New Orleans Collection returns as a participant in Creole Christmas
Tours of five French Quarter homes, including the Williams Residence, to be featured on Dec. 27-28

Creole Christmas hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.*
THNOC general business hours: 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
* The Friends of the Cabildo will end ticket sales at 3 p.m. both days.
WHERE: The Historic New Orleans Collection, 533 Royal St., in the French Quarter
HOW: Admission is $25 per person, $20 for Friends of the Cabildo members and $15 for students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.friendsofthecabildo.org or on the day of the event at the 1850 House, 523 St. Ann St. Children 12 and under are free.
WHY: The Historic New Orleans Collection is pleased to announce its participation in Creole Christmas, presented by Friends of the Cabildo, on Friday, Dec. 27, and Saturday, Dec. 28. The event invites locals and visitors alike to take a festive stroll through the French Quarter to visit five historical houses outfitted with traditional Christmas decorations. Participants will also enjoy Creole Christmas stories and seasonal refreshments. THNOC's Williams Residence, the 1850 House, Beauregard-Keyes House, Spring Fiesta House and Gallier House will all be featured.
Those who visit THNOC will see the festively decorated residence and courtyard of the institution's founders, General and Mrs. L. Kemper Williams. The elegant town home features a beautiful Christmas tree decorated with some of their original ornaments, Christmas family photos of the Williamses and details of their family traditions.
Self-guided tours of all the historical homes begin at the 1850 House at 523 St. Ann St. on Jackson Square and are available all day 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Ticket sales will end at 3 p.m. both days.
