Fête de la Musique, Presented by Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orleans,
Public Charter School

New Orleans, LA, February 17, 2014 - Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orleans proudly presents its fourth annual Fête de la Musique, an evening of music, food, and revelry to benefit a great cause!  The Fête, held on Sunday, March 16 at Generations Hall, is truly an entertainment extravaganza unlike any other school fundraiser.  The event will feature an All-Star lineup that includes Ani Difranco, Fleur de Tease Burlesque Troupe, local Francophone band Sweet Crude, the Young Pinstripes Brass Band, Kermit Ruffins, and more.  There will be an open bar and cuisine from the finest local restaurants including Chateau du Lac Bistro, Cochon, Patois, Sylvain, and many more.

The patron party begins at 5pm, and will feature exclusive entertainment and includes entertainment by Sasha Masakowski, raw oyster bar, champagne, gift, open bar and hors d'oeuvres.   The Main Concert will be held from 6 until 9:30pm and will feature a silent auction, open bar and food from local restaurants.

Early Bird Tickets start at $85; Patron Party Tickets start at $125.  To purchase tickets, sponsor the event, or for more information, visit

All proceeds benefit Lycée Français, a free public charter school located in Uptown New Orleans, educating students in the French curriculum, culminating in both a French baccalaureate diploma as well as a Louisiana State diploma for its graduates.  Lycée will ultimately become the first public French curriculum school in the nation serving grades PK4 through 12 and as a type II charter school, is open to all residents of Louisiana.
