Hidden Treasures: Spring Arts Edition

Presented by Friends of the Cabildo

Join Friends of the Cabildo as the Louisiana State Museum's impressive collection of decorative arts are examined for an exclusive behind-the-scenes viewing April 1st and 3rd. Katie Burlison, Curator of the Decorative Arts for the Louisiana State Museum, will guide guests through the collection's ceramics, glass, metals and folk objects that represent the coming of Spring. The tours will take place at the State Museum's Collection Building, located above Irene's Restaurant.

Hidden Treasures of the Louisiana State Museum: Spring Arts Edition takes place Tuesday and Thursday, April 1st and 3rd. Tours are at 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Louisiana State Museum Collections Building, located at 1000 Chartres Street, in the French Quarter.  Cost is $20.00 per person, or $15.00 for Friends of the Cabildo/Louisiana Museum Foundation members. Reservations are required, and space is extremely limited.

Friends of the Cabildo is a private non-profit volunteer group that provides financial and volunteer support for the Louisiana State Museum, its projects and its property. Since incorporating in 1956, the Friends of the Cabildo has grown into a large statewide membership organization, a dynamic and motivating force in broadening and supporting the aims of the Louisiana State Museum.
