78th Anniversary
March 22nd - March 30th 2014

Festival Activities and Home Tours in French Quarter and Garden District

 

New Orleans Spring Fiesta Association celebrates the cultural heritage and architecture of the city with its 78h annual Spring Fiesta March 22nd - March 30th 2014.  The festivities get under way on Saturday, March 22nd at 9:30 AM with a French Quarter Walking Tour I $15-$20 beginning at 826 St. Ann Street. The highlight of Saturday's festivities is a Promenade through Jackson Square preceding the presentation of the Spring Fiesta Queen and her Court (adorned in antebellum attire) at 2:45 p.m... At 4:30 p.m., the Queen and her court parade through the Vieux Carre in horse drawn carriages showering her subjects with the season's bounty. On Sunday, March 23rd, at 9:30 AM, French Quarter Walking Tour II $15-$20 begins at 826 St. Ann Street at 11:30 AM, there is a brunch at the world-famous Antoine's Restaurant and French Quarter Home Tour I.  Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. Advance reservations are required. $80 includes three-course lunch and tour of French Quarter homes. From1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, French Quarter Home Tour I - $30-$35begins at 826 St. Ann Street. Activities on Weekend II start on Saturday, March 29th at 9:30 AM with French Quarter Walking Tour III $15-$20 beginning at 826 St. Ann Street. At 11:30 AM there is a brunch at the world-famous Antoine's Restaurant. Advance reservations required. $50 includes three-course lunch. On Sunday March 30th at 9:30 AM, French Quarter Walking Tour IV $15-$20 begins at 826 St. Ann Street. From1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, French Quarter Home Tour II, $30-$35 begins at 629 Governor Nicholls Street and winds up this year's festivities.
