Celebrate a Jazzy Easter at Restaurant Revolution

And Renew your Senses

New Orleans, Louisiana (April 9, 2014) -- The perfect Easter Sunday celebration begins with brunch in the historic French Quarter at Restaurant R'evolution where Executive Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto have planned a menu befitting the occasion. Designed to renew and reawaken your palate just in time for spring, seasonal favorites are presented with creative flair and attention to detail that diners have come to expect from one of New Orleans finest restaurants. Live Jazz entertainment by the incomparable Don Vappie and his Creole Trio elevates the experience for the perfect pairing of a fine dining offering with an outstanding musical accompaniment.   

 

Starters from the main menu present tempting choices between sumptuous Crisp Sweetbreads with an Herbsaint Meniére and Forest Mushrooms, or a Foie Gras Biscuit and Gravy with Tomato-Strawberry Jam and Duck Bacon.  There's also Restaurant R'evolution's Beer-battered Crab Beignets presented with Four Rémoulades, Sizzling Oysters R'evolution with Smoked Bienville Butter or Black Truffle Beef Tartare presented with Pickled Vegetables and Grilled Bread.  If you're finding it impossible to choose, then why not sample several appetizers for friends and family to share as you begin your gastromic journey into paradise.

 

Salad selections include Roasted Baby Beets with Goat Cheese and Molasses-candied Pecans, House Salad with Crispy Vegetables with Haricot Vert, Cucumber and Torn Croutons, Cajun-friend Oyster Salad with Crisp Bacon and Blue Cheese Dressing, or a Raw Vegetable Salad with Artichokes, Asparagus, Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette, and Parmigiano-Reggiano.

Warm up to your entrée selection with the signature Death by Gumbo which features Roasted Quail, Andouille, Oysters and Filé Rice or select Chefs' Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup with Deviled Quail Eggs and Madeira.

From the sea, there's Seared Sea Scallops and Foie Gras with White Bean Purée, Celery Salad and Bacon Vinaigrette, or Crawfish-stuffed Flounder Napoleon with an Artichoke and Oyster Stew and Fried Crawfish Boulettes among other choices that are equally as tempting.

 

Hearty meat and game options include a Four-bone Rack of Lamb, a 14-oz Milk-fed Veal Chop, or a Rotisserie Duck served with Field Pea Foie Gras Rice, Crispy Onions and Pea Tendrils, just to name a few of several offerings.

 

At a R'evolution Brunch, Eggs are prepared a la Crème and Scrambled with Crawfish, Smoked Paprika and Cajun Caviar, or Poached over Sugar-cured Ham, a Sweet Corn Biscuit and finished with a Sriracha Hollandaise for Breakfast R'evolution.  There's also Duck Confit and Eggs, a Toasted Brioche, Poached Egg, Warm Potato Salad and Duck Bacon.

Too many choices? Then why not experience Restaurant R'evolution from the Easter Prix Fix Menu. This special offer includes a choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert for $85 per person exclusive of taxes and gratuity.

 

Brunch is simply not complete without Bar R'evolution's tempting libations, such as a Brandy Milk Punch with Laubade Armagnac, Milk and Nutmeg, a Ramos Gin Fizz with Citrus Infused Old Tom Gin, Egg White, Orange Flower Water and Vanilla, or opt for a classic Mimosa with Sparkling Wine and Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice.

 

For the little ones, our Executive Chefs have whipped up a special Easter Children's Menu just for the occasion. Children of all ages will love the Chicken Tenders with Shoestring Fries, Spaghetti with Red Sauce or Butter Noodles, or the Hamburger with Shoestring Fries. Dessert is a scoop of House-Made Ice Cream with a choice of Chocolate, Vanilla, Peanut Butter or Marshmallow. Adults may be tempted to reach over when ice cream is involved!
