Season Subscriptions on Sale to the Public May 6

Auditions for Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike May 19

Next on Stage: Death of a Salesman May 9-24

April 29, 2014, New Orleans, LA - The Board of Governors of Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Carré announced its 2014-15 season, consisting of five productions - a vibrant mix of drama, comedy and musicals.  The season opens on September 5, 2014 and runs through June 6, 2015, and will once again employ all local actors and crews.

"Le Petit presents an eclectic season with something for everyone," said Le Petit Theatre Executive Director Cassie Steck Worley. "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike is a hilarious new comedy straight from Broadway. Peter and the Starcatcher is a prequel to Peter Pan and is a must-see for kids and adults. We are proud to present the rock opera classic, Jesus Christ Superstar and the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Dinner with Friends, and we end our season with a Stephen Sondheim musical, Merrily We Roll Along," Worley said.

2014-15 season subscriptions will go on sale to the public beginning May 6 via the theatre's website (http://www.lepetittheatre.com/) and the box office. During the regular season, individual tickets for each production will go on sale one month prior to opening night. The box office is open during the hours of 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays (Closed Sundays and Mondays). For questions, call the box office at 504-522-2081 or email: info@lepetittheatre.com.

Tickets for the upcoming production of Death of a Salesman are now on sale.  The Pulitzer Prize-winning drama runs May 9-24.  The current 2013-14 season closes out with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, July 11-26.
