He is said to be captivating, not only to children, but also to adults.

Kelley’s work has been featured in numerous publications, namely Art & Antiques, Portfolio, Louisiana Road Trips, Images, Louisiana Life, Décor, and Delta Style. He was one of 25 artists featured in Colors to Life Beautiful, an exhibit in conjunction with the production The Color Purple, a production in which his piece entitled Survivor appeared.

The most operatic of all sacred works, the 1874 Requiem takes its rightful place in a season of treasures from the late Romantic period. The closing "Libera me" section was conceived in 1869 as part of a mass written by 13 different composers to honor Rossini after his death. That effort was abandoned, to Verdi's frustration, but five years later he resolved to bring a Requiem to completion as tribute to Alessandro Manzoni, the Italian poet, novelist and humanist. Verdi's admiration for the writer brought out his best - the music is infused with rhythmic vitality, sublime melodies and dramatic contrasts. He recycled a duet from Don Carlos and chose a quartet of singers from the European production of Aida for the Milan premiere, which he himself conducted. Join internationally known soloists from today's operatic stage, the New Orleans Opera Chorus, and choral groups from throughout our community for this special event.

A celebration of African American food, music, crafts and culture. This two day event spotlights the achievements of African Americans, educates about their heritage and culture, and promotes health and wellness in the African American community.

The 9th annual Dirty Linen Night, an annual art walk in the French Quarter, is  a non-profit organization based in New Orleans. This FREE event invites you into the artist-owned studios, galleries and unique shops in the French Quarter.
 Also, look for participating shops on the 500 block of St. Peter and St. Ann Streets and the Dutch Alley Artist Co-Op at Dumaine and Decatur Streets.

The Halloween Costume Expose’ is the Krewe of Boo’s annual Halloween celebration following the Parade! Held on October 24th, our Halloween-themed costume party unites imagination with alter-ego to produce a Halloween celebration yet to be seen. This black and orange extravaganza is outfitted in first-class décor, exquisite Mardi Gras World props, themed lighting, thousands of costumed patrons, and phenomenal entertainment! Guaranteed to impress even the most adept socialites, the Halloween Costume Expose’ is the Krewe of Boo’s most significant fundraising event. The parade will begin at Elysian Fields/Decatur. 

Enjoy 250 hours of free entertainment featuring more than 150 musical performances on fifteen stages throughout the French Quarter over a three-day weekend. Nearly 60 food and beverage booths located in Jackson Square and Woldenberg Riverfront Park will make up the "World's Largest Jazz Brunch," a signature event, featuring authentic local cuisine from renowned area restaurants.
