Sally Rabinowitz, granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, presents a story of
survival, persistence and compassion. A YouTube sensation, Sally tells a story
of mystery and intrigue that is not to be missed. Not your typical 17-year old
girl, Sally spent several years uncovering the facts that led to her family’s
survival during the Nazi occupation of Germany. After receiving no response on
the telephone, Sally made trips to German archives in the Frankfurt Jewish
Museum as well as cemeteries where family members were buried.
Relating the events of Nazi Germany to racism that exists today, Sally will
share her ideas of awareness and prevention of future persecution as well as
overcoming obstacles.
