Grand Isle Restaurant is gearing up for Super Bowl and hosting its “HOT BEAVER Oyster Eating Challenge” kick-off which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 11:00 a.m. on Fulton Street outside the restaurant, located just a few blocks off Canal Street.
The ‘Oyster Challenge’ competition will pit local New Orleanians against each other to slurp down a dozen raw oysters in two (2) minutes. But here’s the catch: each oyster will be topped with a half-teaspoon of Beaver Brand Extra Hot Horseradish.
The competition on the 2nd marks the launch of the Oyster Challenge, which will be ongoing at Grand Isle Restaurant. Locals and tourists alike can come into the restaurant at any time and take the challenge!
