Performances will feature New Orleans musical royalty: Grammy Winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Member, Allen Toussaint; The Soul Queen of New Orleans and Grammy Winner, Irma Thomas; and National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Jazz Masters Award Winner and Louisiana Music Hall of Famer Ellis Marsalis. Also featured: The Roland Guerin All-Star Band; Dr. Michael White; David Torkanowsky; Detroit Brooks; Ed "Peculator" Perkins; Donald Evans; Derek Douget; Michael Ward; Victor “Red” Atkins'; Troy Davis; Ingrid Lucia; New Orleans Swamp Donkeys Traditional Jass Band, and many other surprise performances. Wessell “Warmdaddy” Anderson is a former member of Wynton Marsalis' septet and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. He has been a tremendous contributor to the music world as a performer, composer, spokesperson, educator, and humanitarian. He is currently recovering in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
