The 9th Annual ZMR Music Awards Ceremony

ZMR’s 2012 inagural live awards ceremony will feature ZMR/NAR Award winners, past and present, who will paint a broad musical panorama of original solo and ensemble compositions spanning divese genres from Neo-Classical, Chill, Jazz, to Native American Flute.  You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to experience a spectacular lineup of extrordinarily talented musician/songwriters performing at New Orleans’ historic Joy Theater.  Artists performing the evening’s entertainment include an impressive list of Grammy Award Winners and Nominees, as well as winners of numerous national and international awards employing electronic and accoustic, strings, wind instruments, percussion, piano and voice.  Distinguished radio programmer Renee Blanche, host of the popular show "Night Tides" on KCUR-FM in Kansas City will emcee the evening’s festivities.  Hosting this magical evening of world-class performances is New Orleans’ historic Joy Theater, severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina, but newly renovated into a state-of-the-art concert venue.  This year’s Annual Award nominees represent a wide variety of categories including, Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Chill/Groove Album, Best World Album, Best Instrumental Album-Piano, and more.
