Wednesdays on the Point ft.The New Orleans Suspects & The Mumbles

June 26, 2013

Wednesdays on the Point began six years ago in an effort to draw visitors to Algiers Point during the slow summer months.  Each Wednesday on the Point concert is free to attend, offering live music, local cuisine and activities for the entire family.

This year AEDF announces the addition of an artisan vendor area featuring local artists creating unique crafts for sale to festival attendees. Returning for it’s second year is the popular Kid’s Zone sponsored by the YMCA Federal City.  This year’s Kid’s Zone will include face painters, kids cuisine, athletic activities and offers both adults and children a safe space to enjoy the summer evenings.  Always present is the unique local cuisine created by hand by Algiers vendors.
