Join the Louisiana Children's Museum in celebrating America's Independence on Saturday, June 29th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Meet Uncle Sam, enjoy live music and delight in lots of red, white and blue festivities! Enjoy special performances featuring the John Robert Powers Performing Arts Academy, Majorettes R Us, and Crescent City Lights Youth Theatre. The "America Rocks!" celebration will culminate with a special performance of the National Anthem and a red, white and blue confetti toss at 12:30 p.m. Make a "Liberty Bells" shaker and design your own patriotic crown to wear! Create a red, white and blue parade stick! Join in activities with Soldiers' Angels, Nola Patriots, Blue Star Moms and Kiwanis' Dawn Busters while you learn how they support American soldiers. Pre-purchased admission is $5 per member and $10 per non-member. Admission at the door on the day of the event is $5 per member and $12 per non-member.
