ArT Home New Orleans welcomes the public once again into the spaces of the creative and culturally-minded for its 4th annual weekend tour presented by the Creative Alliance of New Orleans (CANO), cano-la.org.

ArT Home New Orleans is an annual self-guided public tour that pulls back the curtain on the city’s authentic cultural life. Based in the Central Business District this year in conjunction with the Art for Arts' Sake cultural season kick-off, ArT Home New Orleans 2013 shines a light on the creative work-life of downtown New Orleans. Participants will explore the old American Sector by visiting studios of creative artists and producers, art-filled offices and incubators, private residences, as well as downtown’s finest bars.

The tour begins at the Contemporary Arts Center at 900 Camp Street. The Saratoga Building, the Maritime Building, the Union Lofts, the design studio of Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, the Civic Theater, and Borgne Restaurant are among the over 20 sites on the ArT Home New Orleans 2013 itinerary.

ArT Home New Orleans connects locals and visitors with local emerging creatives. The program (1) showcases the work of New Orleans based creative artists and producers of many disciplines; (2) encourages the collection of art by installing works available for purchase and showcasing local private collections; and (3) provides an enriching cultural experience for locals and visitors therefore encouraging repeat visits.
