H. Mortimer Favrot Orientation Center at The National WWII Museum
In the summer of 2012, New Orleanian Anne Levy returned to her birthplace for the first time in over seventy years after surviving the Lodz and Warsaw Ghettos as a child during World War II. Prior to her visit, Anne's daughter, artist Robin Levy, formed a partnership with Marta Madejska, a Polish cultural activist living in Lodz to create a community event that would commemorate her mother’s visit and help connect memories with city and place. Join Anne, Robin and Marta as they share their stories and discuss this multi-generational, international collaboration inspired by Anne's past. To RSVP for this event, call 504-529-1944 x 229.
