The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and The National WWII Museum present "Honoring Our Heroes" feat

This patriotic program in the new US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center will include Aaron Copeland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and Lincoln Portrait, Leroy Anderson's Bugler's Holiday and Belle of the Ball, and the world premiere of Jake Runestad’s Dreams of the Fallen. "Dreams of the Fallen" explores a soldier's emotional response to the experience of war through the combined musical forces of solo piano, chorus and orchestra with powerful texts written by Iraq War veteran and award-winning poet Brian Turner. Led by new music enthusiast and respected pianist Jeffrey Biegel, a consortium of orchestras and choirs has been assembled for this exciting new commission.

Tickets are $45 for General Admission and $100 for reserved seating with a patron reception. Tickets are currently available through the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra website, www.LPOmusic.org.
