South Florida’s Singing Sensation Jessi Campo Makes New Orleans Debut

April 29, 2014
  • Location: Royal Sonesta Hotel
  • Address: 300 Bourbon Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
  • Times: 8:00pm-12:00am
  • Admission: No cover charge, two drink minimum
  • Phone: 504-553-2299

Ms.  Jessi Campo is gearing up to take the city by storm the week of New Orleans Jazz Fest by adding extra dazzle and Latin flavor to Jazz and Contemporary standards, Classic Boleros and original songs from her latest CD, “At Last.”  The bi-lingual beauty has a radiant personality and memorable voice. She has been described as an entertainer with glamorous style and a vintage sound.

The band is Jessi Campo on vocals, and, pending their schedules, Jose Negroni on piano from the Grammy nominated Negroni’s Latin Jazz Trio and Jose Velasquez on percussion from the Tito Puente, Jr. band.

Currently her CD, as well as her single “Some People Say,” are available at Touch Tune digital Jukeboxes nationwide and in Canada and through, iTunes, and Jessi Campo’s show transports the audience with passion, power, nostalgia and romance to the 1930’s and 1940’s Golden Age of Music. Comments Jessi Campo, “I was in New Orleans for the first time last May and I was so magically drawn in by the city, the food, the people and the music that I knew I would be back and then I returned in September to attend the Cutting Edge Music Conference. Fascinated once more, I knew destiny would have me performing in the Mecca city of Jazz music! This is a dream come true.”
