Friday: First Friday 50-Cent Tours

As part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations, THNOC is offering First Friday 50-Cent Tours. There will be three tours on the first Friday of each month in 2016. Admission to each tour is only $0.50 per person. Guests can choose guided tours of THNOC's Architecture and Courtyards, Williams Residence, or a themed tour of the Louisiana History Galleries. The guided tours of the Louisiana History Galleries will explore a different theme every month. In March guests will learn the answers to questions like "What's a picayune?" and "How do you pronounce 'Tchoupitoulas'?" This month's tour will use items on display to explore the unique vocabularly of New Orleans and help guests sound just like locals. Each tour is available at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., and is limited to 10 people. No reservations will be taken.
