Since 2006, Hansen's Garden District Jazz Trio has performed every night at Houston's Restaurant located at 1755 St. Charles Ave. in New Orleans, LA.

They are a sophisticated jazz ensemble performing a huge repertoire of jazz ranging from classic standards, very old New Orleans traditional jazz, big band hits, bebop, Latin/Jazz to funky New Orleans street beat or second line type songs in a very creative and highly improvised setting. Jazz and Latin groove infused the Garden District Band performs from the Classic American Songbook with Swing, Ballads, Bossa Nova, Samba and quasi-rhumba styles with a unique New Orleans feel. They perform in the style of the incredible, great, swinging piano trios such as Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Gene Harris, Ahmad Jamal, Wynton Kelly, McCoy Tyner and many others. If you like these artists, you will love this group.

David features many of the best jazz musicians in the city. While the specific lineup may vary from night to night, all of the musicians who perform represent the high end swing, groove, and feel that Hansen's jazz bands have always presented.

Mon-Thur 6:45pm to 9:15pm
Fri/Sat 6:45pm to 9:45pm
Sun 6:00pm to 8:30pm

The dining experience, cuisine, atmosphere and music are all outstanding.
