Artist Thomas Mann will don his chef's hat to host a private “Artist’s Table” fundraising dinner event at Thomas Mann Design, Inc., Gallery I/O & Studio Flux to benefit the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERFplus), a national nonprofit that is offering assistance to Louisiana artists affected by the recent flood. Tom will mix his three loves — art, food and theatre— to deliver an unforgettable evening of artistic food and fun as he serves select dishes from his work in progress, The DECONSTRUCTIVIST Cookbook. Preceding the dinner, a private cocktail reception will be hosted in Gallery I/O, where attendees will be treated to a private viewing of the special exhibition entitled FEAST, which inspired the idea for the fundraising dinner. FEAST is part art installation and part lush fall-inspired entertainment tablescape, composed of a carefully curated collection of artisan-made functional dinner ware & thematically related decorative objects — both for the body and home. Doors open at 5:30PM. Cocktail Reception - 6-7PM - $25 Private Dinner - 7-9PM - $140 (Includes entry to Cocktail Reception) Doors close at 9:30PM. Tickets can be purchased in person at Gallery I/O and by phone, Mon.-Sat., 11AM to 5PM at (504) 581-2111 or online at...
