Napoleon House's Chris Montero Celebrity Chef Dinner

On the heels of the highly successful dinner in January with Slade Rushing of Brennan’s, Poppy Tooker, host of WWNO's "Louisiana Eats!" will once again team up with New Orleans-based French Market Coffee to present the second Celebrity Chef Dinner to benefit the Southern Food & Beverage Museum (SoFAB).On Thursday, March 23, 2017, guests can enjoy a three-course demonstration-style dinner with award-winning Chef Chris Montero of Napolean House in the Rouse’s Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air at SoFAB. Priced at $85 per person (all inclusive) dinner will include wine pairings curated by Bin 428, as well as specialty gifts provided by French Market Coffee. Dinner begins at 6:30PM. Menu follows. FIRST COURSE Insalata Impastato trio di salumi, olive medley, baby romaine, artichoke heart, provolone, sun-dried tomato vinaigrette 2014 Gradizzolo Pignoletto Il Bersot 1933 SECOND COURSE Pan Seared Redfish crabmeat risotto, confit cherry tomatoes, toasted garlic, fresh basil 2015 Elio Perrone Tasmorcan Barbera d'Asti THIRD COURSE Warm Bread Pudding French Market café au lait anglaise Galliano Ristretto The Louisiana Eats! & French Market Dinner will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 6:30PM at The Rouses Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn-Air inside the Southern Food & Beverage Museum, 1504 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard in New Orleans.
