Join us for the 4th Annual Viva La Cure - A Night of Hope Fundraiser! This unique cocktail-attire & Latin-inspired event is always filled with patrons from the medical community as well as local supporters of CAGNO. Live music will be provided by Bucktown All-Stars. There will be many enticing items to bid on at the silent auction, including tickets to Walt Disney World. A raffle will feature an elegant white gold & diamond fleur-de-lis necklace. Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary spirits, as well as dine on fine cuisine from some of the area's best restaurants. Attendees can also look forward to some special Latin entertainment!  All monies raised will be donated to CAGNO.

Viva La Cure began as a memorial event for William J. Burtch. He was a Slidell resident who received cancer care on both the Northshore and the Southshore. After a strong fight, Mr. Burtch passed away from Merkel Cell Carcinoma. His family and friends wanted to honor his memory by helping other people in this community undergoing cancer treatment. The Cancer Association of Greater New Orleans provides financial assistance to local cancer patients in the following parishes: Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, St. Charles, Washington, Assumption, Lafourche, St. Mary, Terrebonne, & St. John the Baptist.
