CRESCENT CITY CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL TO INCLUDE THREE FREE CONCERTS IN NEW ORLEANS ON AUGUST 24-27 Some of the world’s most accomplished and sought-after musicians will be in New Orleans to perform some of the greatest Classical chamber music ever written to the Greater New Orleans community as part of the second annual Crescent City Chamber Music Festival. The festival is presented by Artistic Director and New Orleans native Luke Fleming with the Manhattan Chamber Players, a highly acclaimed chamber music group. The Crescent City Chamber Music Festival will hold three unique concerts free and open to the public: Thursday, August 24, at 6pm at Urban South Brewery, 1645 Tchoupitoulas St. (with fun beer and music pairings of great taste) Saturday, August 26 at 7:30 pm at Tulane University's Rogers Memorial Chapel (informal Pre-Concert Talk at 7pm) Sunday, August 27 at 3pm at Rayne Memorial United Methodist Church, 3900 St. Charles Ave. In addition, members of the Manhattan Chamber Players will perform 16 free interactive concerts for a wide range of audiences in schools, nursing homes, churches, and other helping agencies and mission sites across the city.  The mission of the festival is to enrich and uplift the human spirit while promoting a love of Classical music. Through partnerships with Rayne Memorial United Methodist Church, WWNO, Make Music NOLA, Urban South Brewery, and Tulane University, artists of the Manhattan Chamber Players will visit sixteen different nursing homes, churches, schools, and other helping agencies in the Greater New Orleans area, providing interactive, inspiring musical performances. They will also present three recital programs free and open to the public. For event details, visit crescentcitychambermusicfestival.com ; Email: crescentcitycmf@gmail.com; Phone: 646.241.0303. The Crescent City Chamber Music Festival is presented by the Manhattan Chamber Players, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. CCCMF depends entirely on individual donors and grants to continue its mission in the Greater New Orleans area.
