Fredrick Guess' use of bold color to create contrasts of light and shadow is a hallmark of his style. The techniques he has developed were influenced by the tutelage of Marilyn Bendell, under whom he studied for three years, and formal training at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, where he received his degree. A unique combination of those influences, along with his innate talent, and the bountiful inspirations of both his home state of Florida as well as his chosen home of New Orleans bring to fruition the marvelous works we are so proud to offer.
