Located in Armstrong Park, the 2,300 seat Mahalia Jackson Theater re-opened in January 2009 after undergoing $22 million dollars in improvements. The theater is the home for the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, New Orleans Ballet, New Orleans Opera, Broadway show & entertainment events.
