Strategically situated in the middle of the action in downtown New Orleans, adjacent to the iconic Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the New Orleans Arena has provided the best in entertainment and sports since opening in 1999. The New Orleans Arena is a state of the art facility that has successfully served as the host site for a variety of corporate and association programming. The New Orleans Arena consistently serves as the venue of choice for a multitude of concerts, family shows and sporting events.


General Sessions

The Arena, consisting of over 17,000 seats, can accommodate a variety of seating configurations perfect for groups of any size.

Seating Capacities:*

  • End Stage 180 degrees: Approximately 12,200
  • End Stage 270 degrees: Approximately 14,800
  • In the Round 360 degrees: Approximately 17,200

A big draw for associations and corporate groups is the Arena's tiered level seating, with every seat offering an excellent view for all attendees. Specifically for general sessions, the tiered level seating and the compactness of the venue adds an intimacy and energy that cannot be matched.

The production capabilities at the venue are extensive and allow clients to customize their programming.

The New Orleans Arena has extensive back-of-house space perfect for green rooms for speakers, media, key personnel and VIPs. The Arena has a total of twelve rooms of various sizes, most of which have private restroom facilities. In addition to the back of house space, the Arena is equipped with several private spaces that can be utilized in conjunction with the overall use of the facility. These include the Bacardi Superior Lounge (Restaurant & Courtyard, 250 Reception), North Club (150 reception) and South Club (150 reception).

With experienced in-house staffing, multiple loading docks, extensive back of house space and an amazing adaptability that suits your every desire, the Arena is the ideal venue general sessions.


Special Events

Many corporate and association clients have selected the New Orleans Arena as their venue for private concert performances, seated dinners, awards presentations, and receptions. Use of the space can be strictly limited to the floor or can be used in combination with the bowl seating, 100 & 300 level concourses and even the outdoor areas adjacent to the Arena. Many clients hosting large groups have opted to offer food and beverage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome (located next door to the Arena), along with a private musical performance at the New Orleans Arena for their attendees.
The space has the ability to transform, allowing creative programming that will match your attendee profile.

As a tax-free facility, all New Orleans Arena clients are exempt from the standard sales tax on food and beverage, thus resulting in significant savings.
