Both buildings remain in excellent shape with no damage to either structure from Gustav.
The Superdome management, security, and emergency teams are in place and have fully secured and protected the building. The Lousiana National Guard, State Police and NOPD have provided additional and comprehensive protection of the facilities. The Superdome was not used as a shelter during Gustav.
