Hotels will are reopening as conditions warrant and those decisions are made on a property by property basis. Many of the major hotels throughout the downtown area are open again, and visitors are advised to call ahead to confirm existing reservations. We expect nearly all properties to be back in business by Monday, September 8.

We thank all hotels for their commitment to the safety of our visitors, workers, and citizens.

The hotel community has done a beautiful job in securing their properties from damage. The city has implemented an evening curfew program and private security has been retained by many properties. Our expectation is that the New Orleans hotel community is very well protected and will reopen very shortly with all of the recent wonderful renovations intact and in pristine condition.

We look forward to the reopening of the City of New Orleans and our hotel community to the general public as soon as possible.
