Festival-goers will revel in the spirit of New Orleans while enjoying a cultural showcase of the Crescent City's finest music and food as the soulful streets of the historic French Quarter transform into the largest free music festival in the south.
Thirteen music stages showcase the best in New Orleans music, representing every genre from gospel to jazz, from Latin to classical, from Cajun & zydeco to brass band, while local restaurants serve up the most delectable cuisine New Orleans has to offer during The World's Largest Jazz Brunch. Children's activities, fun exhibits and other festivities take place throughout the weekend.
The 2007 French Quarter Festival will take place April 13-15. This year, enjoy 250 hours of free entertainment featuring more than 150 musical performances on fifteen stages throughout the French Quarter over the three-day weekend. Nearly 60 food and beverage booths located in Jackson Square, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, and the U.S. Mint will make up the "World's Largest Jazz Brunch," a signature event, featuring authentic local cuisine from renowned area restaurants.
