Exhibit Management and General Contractors

EXHIBIT MANAGEMENT

Creating green
exhibitor best practices that are easy to follow will help with efforts
to grow green initiative participation. Consider the following:

1. Offer a green
page in the exhibitor kit that encourages following green policy.

2. List green
policies on all promotional materials.

3. Ask exhibitors to reuse shipping boxes and packing materials for returning materials.

4. Have recycling bins at each exhibitor station and arrange for recycling stations
throughout the hall.

5. Provide exhibitors with maps of the recycling stations either at registration or hand
deliver maps and encourage exhibitor participation.

6. Develop a check-out system that reminds exhibitors to recycle any materials not being
shipped back.

8. Advise exhibitors of the anticipated number of delegates attending the show, which will
allow them to plan how much collateral to brin to rhe show.

9. Suggest that give-a-ways are environmentally friendly and/or made of reusable items.

10. Donate left-over give-a-ways to a local school or charity.

11. Avoid printing dates on materials so they can be easily reused.

12. Develop a recognition program for green exhibitors. Develop criteria to recognize
participating exhibitors. Consider:

                     a. Special recognition at next years event.
                     b. Place special signage at the exhibit booth.
                     c. Acknowledge exhibitor in program book.
