Activities

Antiquing on Royal Street

piece of jewelry, work of art or furnishing. Spanning the centuries and cultures you'll find 18th
and 19th century English, Continental, Oriental and French treasures.

See the Architecture
New Orleans looks like no other American city. Strong French and Spanish influences have
created a truly European city. Creole cottages, cast iron fences and breathtaking balconies
will captivate your eyes, spark your imagination and have you wondering what stories
these buildings would tell if they could talk.

Carriage Rides
Tour the French Quarter by carriage. Sit back, relax, take in the sights and learn a little of the history of this famous neighborhood while enjoying the syncopated rhythms of the mule-drawn carriage.

Portrait Paintings at Jackson Square
Lining the iron fences surronding St. Louis Cathedral are artists ready to paint your portrait.
Enjoy their art-work on display along the fences, which creates an informal outdoor gallery
like experience.

Enjoy the Shopping
An eclectic mixture of shops call the French Quarter home. Trendy clothing boutiques,
shoe stores, home decor shops and a bounty of unique and interesting finds are nestled
inside of cozy storefronts throughout the French Quarter.
