Celebration in the Oaks in New Orleans' City Park remains one of the most beautiful holiday light exhibitions in the country, attracting more than 122,000 people last year.  Stroll through a park filled with 100-year-old oak trees twinkling with holiday cheer.

St. Louis Cathedral Christmas Concert Series
Some of New Orleans' greatest artists will come together and perform Christmas concerts in the historic St. Louis Cathedral. Listen to Ellis Marsalis, Irvin Mayfield and many more play Christmas favorites in one of the most elegant landmarks in New Orleans.

Concerts are select days in December and start at 6 p.m.

New to the holiday scene is Christmas in theDistrict, a series of holiday- themed large-scale light displays combining theculture and history of New Orleans with state-of-the-art technology. More than 70 treesare lit up in holiday colors with lights in many of the palm trees lining theneutral ground along Convention Center Blvd. between Julia St. and Poydras St.The highlight of Christmas in the District can be seen at the ConventionCenter's new pedestrian plaza where locals and visitors can enjoy a light showmade of digitally animated lighting effects synchronized to music.
