The TODAY Show with Hoda and Jenna returns to New Orleans for Third Straight Year

  • New Orleans & Company is sponsoring the TODAY Show with Hoda and Jenna for a live broadcast from the French Quarter on Thursday, April 11, 2024 and a taped show to be aired on Friday, April 12, 2024 (all at 10:00 am Central on NBC). View the official announcement here. 

Some of the PGAs biggest stars set to play the Zurich Classic of New Orleans

  • 2023 Zurich Classic Champions Davis Riley and Nick Hardy will return to defend their title and stars Sahith Theegala and Will Zalatoris will also team up.
  • Rory McIlroy will make his debut at the Zurich Classic this year teaming up with fellow Irishman Shane Lowry.
  • Collin Morikawa, two major champion and currently ranked 18th in the world, will team with Kurt Kitayama.

Festival Season is quickly approaching 

  • French Quarter Fest will have a New Orleans.com Stage powered by New Orleans & Company in Jackson Square with an all-star lineup featuring John Boutté, Quiana Lynell and the Lush Life, James Andrews, and more.
  • Hogs for the Cause will take place April 5-6 at the UNO Lakefront festival grounds. Their music lineup is available here.
  • In 2024, Jazz Fest will consist of two four-day weekends with the Rolling Stones set to headline the second weekend on Thursday, May 2. The full schedule is available here.

Audubon Zoo Ranked Number 7 Best Zoo

The Audubon Zoo has been ranked one of the ten best zoos in the United States in the USA Today 10Best list voted on by editors and readers.

New Orleans Airport Named Best Airport in North America Three Years in a Row

The Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) is one of only three airports in North America to win Best Airport recognition among those serving 5 to 15 million passengers per year.

For the third year in a row, MSY received a top award for Best Airport in North America (5 to 15 million passengers per year) from the Airports Council International (ACI) World’s 2023 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program. The ASQ awards highlight the world’s best airports as judged by their customers who are surveyed while they are in the airport.

The Celestine Opens in the French Quarter

The Celestine is a charming new 10-room European-style boutique hotel located in the French Quarter. Hotelier Robért LeBlanc, in partnership with Cure Co’s Neal Bodenheimer, and the team behind The Chloe, debut The Celestine as their first French Quarter property in New Orleans. The property, dating back to 1791, has been updated with French, Spanish, and Afro-Caribbean influences and a glamorous 1950s flair.

Wild South is a South Louisiana tasting experience that reimagines the food traditions of the region, helmed by seven-time James Beard Foundation Award-nominated Chef-Owner Michael Stoltzfus and Executive Chef Bret Macris. With a five-course tasting menu experience, a three-course prix-fixe menu, and an à la carte bar menu, Wild South offers an immersive experience of regional foodways for neighborhood regulars and curious travelers alike.
